Anchor Home

I grew up in Covington, and since graduating from LSU (and during), I have worked in healthcare. After getting my degree from LSU in Business and Sociology, I worked in my family’s business for adults with neurological injuries as the Director of Business Development for our Mississippi location for 3 years. Following my time in our Mississippi program, I moved on to start and open our most recent program in Covington, where I was Director for 2.5 years and am currently the Director of Business Development.

I have always said that one of the worst parts of my job was turning families away because they didn’t meet the criteria, such as not having the proper insurance or a particular medical condition, etc. Almost every client would always ask me, “If not you, where do we go from here?”. This is when the notion that there was a void in our system really pinged in my head. In addition, so many friends and family would often reach out to me with questions and looking for advice for themselves, a friend, or a loved one who did not have a brain injury but needed guidance for what was out there for their family member. Because of this, I had the urge to help people and put the skills I have gained over the years to good use.

This is where Anchor Home comes in. I help families decide what options are available and which facilities are most appropriate to fit their needs. I walk you through every step, do all the research, and coordinate everything. I go over financial options, assisted living, nursing homes, memory care, you name it. My entire goal is to take the burden and stress off families. When you hire me, you can expect a thorough assessment and report specific to your needs.
